Is there a way to install T8 MTS on another workstation on the same LAN that would share the same database?
Thanks,
Mike

Here is the simplest way.
First decide which machine is going to be the "server" or "master" and make its hard drive map-able as a network drive.
Then on the other computer (workstation) map that network drive and give it a drive letter such as "Z:" for example.
Next do a full install of T8 MTS on the workstation.
Then edit the desktop shortcut and make these changes.
For "Target" change C:\SCS\system\alpha5.exe "C:\T8MTS\t8mts.adb" -INCLUDE="C:\T8MTS\SC8.startup" to C:\SCS\system\alpha5.exe "Z:\T8MTS\t8mts.adb" -INCLUDE="C:\T8MTS\SC8.startup"
Change "Start In" from C:\T8MTS to Z:\T8MTS
After that you should be good to go. The server computer must be running at all times when the workstation will be accessing the data. Any updates to T8 MTS or the Catalog Builder should only be done on the master computer.
The catalog builder should only be run on the master computer.

Works great! thank you!
Just curious if I did not want to share the full C:/ drive on the server could I just share the C:/T8MTS folder and change the mapped path to Z:/t8mts.adb (excluding the T8MTS folder that Z is mapped to?)
In other words... does the local instance need to access anything outside the networked T8MTS folder on the server C:/ Drive?
Thanks,
Mike

Yes you could just map the folder as a drive and then it would be something like this.
Target would be: C:\SCS\system\alpha5.exe "Z:\t8mts.adb" -INCLUDE="C:\T8MTS\SC8.startup"
Start is would be: Z:\
